SAM HEWITT

I’m a 15 year old enduro racer and sometimes find myself in the occasional downhill race. Currently boarding at Christchurch boys high school and come from Hokitika on the West Coast.

I also ski competitively in the New Zealand Junior Freeride Tour and love playing rugby. At the end of 2021, I got into racing and loved everything about it. I started riding at a young age, and both my parents are avid bikers and have always dragged me out on missions. With its exposed roots and rock faces, the Craigieburn range is one of my favourite places to ride on my pivot Mach 6.

I was very pleased to win the U17 category in the Emerson's 3 Peak Enduro earlier this year. I’d love to be on the pivot factory team one day racing enduro or downhill world cups.
